About Our Preschool Program
Serving the Greencastle-Antrim community for more than 50 years, the E.L.C. Preschool provides a quality education in a nurturing environment, helping your child’s social, emotional, and physical growth. We provide children with the skills they need to succeed in that first, important step into kindergarten.
The preschool program is a community ministry of Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Our program prioritizes self-confidence, ability to follow directions, and independence. We also emphasize the development of social skills, such as self control and cooperation. Through play, activities encourage speaking and listening skills, recognition of letters of the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and the use of large and small muscles.
Classes meet from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from the first week in September through the last week in May. An extended program runs to 1:00 PM on Thursdays for a small additional fee.
We follow the Greencastle-Antrim School District calendar for holidays. Class is canceled if GASD is closed due to weather.
Registration for the 2023-24 school year is open now. Register online or complete the paper form and return it to the church office with the one-time registration fee of $40.
Once the program is full, additional registrations will be taken and added to a waiting list. The registration fee will only be collected on a waitlisted registration if a spot opens and is accepted.
Standard tuition for the 2023-24 school year is $145 per month; extended tuition is $160 per month. Payments can be made by check to the church office or online using the button below.
